Sorry for your loss.

-Joe
Sorry to hear about your cat.  We lost one recently as well.  I know how tough it can be.

-Ian

The site seems to work very well. Good job. It's nice to be able to share those pictures with people, too. I never even met Buster but the photos tell the story of a good friend. I know all too well how the loss of a pet can be so deeply felt.... and their absence from the household so difficult to endure. Our new cat, Z.Z., has certainly become a member of the family, but without actually saying it, we still compare her to Niko and hold her up to a standard that we know she
cannot meet. Oh well...... Your web pages are bittersweet, but thanks for sending them.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat.  I have just been adopted by a kitten rescued from a feral momma brought in to be spayed.  He's a love and I don't know what I would do if anything were to happen to him.

-Tom
Sorry for the loss of your kitty. I have three that I rescued and they are my best friends...

This breaks my heart. I'm so sorry to hear about Buster, I'm sure he left a big hole in your heart.
Sending good thoughts to you ...

-Erin
I'm so sorry about your cat.  We went through a similar thing with our cat of 9 years, Claude, when he became paralyzed because of a blood clot.  It's so hard when it happens so suddenly.

-Jody
So sorry to hear about your loss. Buster seemed like a great cat and a wonderful friend. Hope your doing OK.

Ode to Buster

He was the toughest cat in the house,
He always wanted to be the one to catch the mouse.

He was a fighter, a disciplinarian and the lover of string,
Life without him has left an awful sting.

He had to leave because the pain was too great,
The doctor said he was in a very grave state.

There had to be an end to his suffering,
You have to believe that it really was the right thing.

You got to hold him in your arms before he died,
But the bond you had with him will never be untied.

You don't realize, until he is gone, what a difference he truly made,
I just wish a little longer, he could have stayed.

Remember him strong, remember him mellow and remember him well,
Think of the fun stuff about his life you'll be able to tell.

He maybe out of sight, but never out of mind,
A cat, like him, will never be easy to find.

-Earnesto

Sorry to say, I never had the privilege of knowing Buster, but the photos show a wise, regal, honest and handsome lad who clearly had a benevolent reign over a loving home.
Truly beloved friends have a part in making us who we are and are with us forever.

I am so saddened to learn of the loss of your cat, Buster.  Although I never had the opportunity to meet him, the photos portray a spirited, confident and fun-loving old soul.  I particularly enjoyed the photos of him sleeping in the window flower box.  What a life!  What a cool cat!
I have been very fortunate to have a life that has been filled with the companionship of many pets.  They have brought me much joy, happiness and new adventures with each passing day.  Unfortunately, their departures leave a heart that's heavy with sorrow and sadness, but time will heal.  You, as well as Buster, are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
